Dr. Oz on Diabetes

I am copying a bit of an article from www.Oprah.com from her TV show that was on last Thurs. Feb. 6th. You can find this on her website, entitled Diabetes: America's Silent Killer.

If there were a deadly disease raging through your body, wouldn't you want to know how to stop it? Unfortunately, more than 6 million Americans are walking around with a silent killer eating away at their health-and they have no idea they're even at risk. That silent killer is Diabetes, the fastest-growing disease in history.

It's estimated that 80 million people in the US have Diabetes or are on the verge of developing this disease. Diabetes is particularly prevalent in the African-American community, where it claims nearly 100 lives every single day. "It's time to get out of denial," Oprah says.

Because so many people are affected, the US is forced to spend $174 billion a year treating this disease-more than AIDS and all cancers combined. "If we don't fix the problem of diabetes in this country, we will bankrupt our future ability to pay for healthcare in the nation," Dr. Oz says.

"Most diabetes is preventable," Dr. Oz says. "It is treatable, even reversible."

As a Type 1 for 40 years myself, I have learned how to be healthy. My organs have been tested and are healthy, I'm happy to say! I have met people with Type 2 who have reversed their symptoms. Low Glycemic food, along with high quality, Pharma Grade, GMP nutritional suppliments, and fun exercise, all equal to a much healthier, happier life!
