Looking for an easier way to lose those unwanted pounds?
I've always been afraid of going on a diet. The thought of being hungry is the first thing that would go threw my mind. Then the rememberance of seeing a lady ordering toast without butter at a cafe was the second. The word "Diet" just conjures up all sorts of negitivity.
When I became a mother, I started thinking of eating healthier, because I wanted to stay young and energetic for my son. I actually looked for recipes with a lot of vegetables in them and found some I really liked. I remember, back 40 years ago, when I first became a Diabetic, my Mom telling a story about her Mom being upset about the new white bread. My Mom was laughing when she acted like her Mom saying "You have to have the fiber! You have to have the fiber", in a strong Norweigen accent! Funny, the things you remember as a child. So another thing I did when I decided to eat healthy, was buy whole grain bread, the higher the fiber content, the better.
Now, I've found the Low Glycemic way to eat and I love it. Low Glycemic means eating foods that don't spike your blood sugar. I have dvd's that explain it and I'm sharing them with those of you who want to lose weight, feel better and become stronger. The part I really like is the fact that you make food you like. If you like meat - we have recipes for meat. If you like vegetarian - we have recipes for vegetarian. If you like dessert - we have recipes for desserts.
