I really love my son, James. He's been such a good help for me lately, with my walking cast. We went Christmas shopping today and he opened doors for me and carried some of the heavier books we bought at Boarders. I know he cares that I get better.
It was such a good time going to see him perform in the play "A Christmas Carol" at the Albright Theatre. My wish is to get ahold of the dvd of this play and beable to make copies for next year's gifts. Of course, I could watch this play all year long!
So this Thank You is for my son, who has looked out for me, his Diabetic mother, all his life. He was 3 when he first helped me recover from an Insulin OD. He brought me a carton of milk and an apple! He was only 5 when he called 911, because I was again OD'ing on insulin, and I couldn't eat the Fig Newtons he tried to give me. He has been a true treasure in my life and I thank him!
