I am on the St. Charles committee for the American Diabetes Association and they are having a fundraiser walk in October!



Please consider either walking or pledging to help this charity.



As it turns out, the goverment gives to the charity that supports the disease that is the leading cause of death and that is Heart disease and Cancer right now. As it turns out, Diabetes causes these diseases and is not mentioned on death certificates, so the ADA does not get much money. Work is being done by a 42 year Type 1 to change cause of death on death certificates right here in IL. He donates his time for the ADA.
